#542  Primitive Mortar and Pestle Unique Shape

This mortar stands about 4 3/4" high with top diameter of almost 4" and a pleasing well-turned urn shape. The pestle is about 6 3/4" long. Both pieces show signs of moderate usage and are a soft honey color. Soft wood ~ possibly pine. The mortar was found in Virginia and the pestle was added later. We love collections of mortars and pestles and these two pieces would be a great addition to any display.

~Freight (standard mail) included. However, insurance is optional and can be purchased for an additional $2.20 @checkout ~ within the continental U.S.
